Third Sunday of Lent

Jesus said to them in reply,
“Do you think that because these Galileans suffered in this way they were greater sinners than all other Galileans? By no means! But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did! Or those eighteen people who were killed when the tower at Siloam fell on them— do you think they were more guilty than everyone else who lived in Jerusalem? By no means! But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did!”

Luke 13: 2-5

We often say that tomorrow we will do good. “Tomorrow I’ll start my diet or donate those clothes, or tomorrow I’ll start volunteering.” But Jesus reminds us that tomorrow is not a guarantee, and if we continue waiting for tomorrow to do what God asks of us what will we say to Him if we never get to it.

What is today, but yesterday’s tomorrow?

Spend some quiet time with God asking what it is He would like you to do today.
